The picture of professionalism, til she deigns to move or speak, this young Xaela toes the line between refined pretentiousness and child-like indignity. As with all Qalli, she communicates entirely through song, although hers are unusual even among the songbirds of the steppe, her every word in careful lyric rhyme and meter. Her body language too speaks of theatrical exuberance, and both carry a certain archaic, operatic flare.

Qulan's eccentric personalty, outlandish work habits, unsubstantiated academic theories, history of experimental mishaps and evergrowing resume of expulsions has made keeping any given position rather difficult for her, despite her enthusiasm and broad knowledge base. Her current occupation as cogwright for the Oasis Adventuring Company has been her longest employment yet at just 2 years.
In spite of her failings, she has been a member of a disproportionate number of academic and engineering organizations given her age, albeit in lesser and fleeting positions.

"Qulan Qallities: Where Quantity has it's own Qallity!"
Qulan's field of 'expertise' is the creation of thinking constructs, and they have a tendancy to take on a life of their own, for better or worse.
Listed bellow are a number of the most well known of Qulan's constructs, and their various functions, personalities, and quirks.
Qulan is notoriously bad at naming things, so all of her creations follow the naming scheme of "QQ" + [Series number] + [Iteration Letter].
Since many of her constructs have their cognition cores and data backed up, many of her constructs' personalities have survived numerous
physical iterations of their design, increasing their iteration number each time, all the way from A (Alpha) to O (Omega).
04 & 08
A pair of oft overlooked but never the less diligent near-standard mammets, QQ-04 is the labratory manager of Qulan's
'elaboratory', while QQ-08 is it's quartermaster. Between the two of them, they have the difficult and odious task of making
sure work gets done, bills are payed, the ledgers are balanced and the building doesn't burn down more than they can afford.
Two of the oldest mammet personalities, they navigate their difficult task in life with tired trepidation.
At least they don't get blown up too often thanks to their desk jobs, so they're relatively low in iteration count.

One of the newest series, and the youngest mammet personality, QQ-17 is designed to be Qulan's
personal research assistant, and to serve as a leader to the other mammets when Qulan isn't around.
Or when Qulan is just feeling lazy and doesn't want to be bothered with management as she oft it.
Seventeen is therefore designed to be highly adaptive, with an immense capacity for learning.
Unfortunately Seventeen also seems to have developed and incredible capacity for sass too,
in addition to often being unhelpfully literal in their understanding of things.
